US Patent No. 8,277,784 B2; Kao has patented a hair treatment with the following steps: preparing the cosmetic by mixing a first agent comprising an alkali agent and a second agent comprising hydrogen peroxide to form a mixed liquid; discharging that liquid in the form of a foam; applying it to hair; allowing it to stand for 3-60 minutes; and rinsing it away.
